All five volumes are written and available now, in English and Brazilian Portuguese.
What Is the Story About?
They didn't invade. They didn't conquer. They simply stayed.
Thousands of years ago, a species unlike anything Earth had seen arrived — not with weapons, but with patience. They blended. They married. They had children. They built lives so ordinary, so deliberately human, that over generations even they forgot what they were.
Their blood thinned. Their memories faded. Their true nature — the scales, the fire, the ancient instinct — lay dormant beneath centuries of forgetting.
Until the world needed them again.
They are the Draconari — ancient beings who crossed the stars and chose Earth as their refuge. In their true form, the males are armoured, scaled creatures of terrifying power: deep red that shifts to cold blue along their ridgelines, a body built for war and survival. The females never shift — they carry something subtler and more dangerous: the ability to project raw plasma energy, a living weapon wrapped in human skin.
But that was long ago. By the time our story begins, most Draconari don't know what they are. They are doctors, workers, parents. They speak human languages, dream human dreams, and die believing they were only ever human.
Mixed-blood descendants — those born of Draconari and human parents — carry the old nature deepest. The transformation is complete in them. The fire remembers, even when the mind does not.
Caelus Ignar is the exiled crown prince of the Draconari — and for most of his life, he had no idea.
He wasn't hidden gently. From childhood, he was taken, studied, and broken apart by those who did know what he was. Military programs. Government tests. Experiments designed to understand — and weaponise — a species the world officially doesn't believe in. They isolated him. They shot him. They pushed him past every limit a body can survive.
By the time they were done, Caelus was forty-one years old, deeply scarred, and absolutely done with all of it.
He didn't want a throne. He didn't want a legacy. He wanted to be left alone.
So he became a bodyguard-for-hire — anonymous, invisible, and very good at keeping other people safe while making absolutely certain no one would come looking for him.
He almost made it work.
Then something falls.
Not metaphorically — something actually falls from the sky, and it lands in Caelus's carefully constructed quiet life with the precision of a thing that was always going to find him.
Now he has a choice he has spent his entire adult life trying to avoid: step forward, or disappear again.
Hide — or answer.
For a man who survived everything the world threw at him by becoming invisible, that question shouldn't be hard. Except his daughter Lyra, half-human and fully transformed, is already standing in the light. And the Draconari — the ones who remember, the ones who are waking up — are looking for someone to lead them.
They're looking for him.
Book 1 — Caelus: The Prince Who Fell The story begins in 2009. Someone who has spent years trying to disappear is about to be found.
Book 2 — Scales: What He Carries Identity is a weight. So is what was done to him. Caelus begins to understand what he is — and what it costs.
Book 3 — Blue Fire: The Daughter's War Lyra, his half-human daughter, is already in the fight he refused. She didn't get a choice either.
Book 4 — Morthkai: The Reckoning The world of the Draconari cannot stay hidden. The reckoning arrives — longer, harder, and more personal than any of them expected.
Book 5 — Ignarum: Return to the Fire Every exile ends. Every fire that was banked eventually returns.
All five books are complete, available in English and Brazilian Portuguese.

The Prince Who Fell
They've lived among us for generations. Most of them have forgotten what they are.
An ancient warrior species arrived on Earth when their planet was destroyed. They integrated. They had children with humans. Over decades, most of them forgot.
Their biology still tries to express itself. Vitiligo. Eczema. Conditions no doctor can explain.
Caelus Ignar knows exactly what he is.
The last full-blood male. Heir to a throne he wants nothing to do with. Survivor of a childhood spent in a military research facility.
He survived all of it. He negotiated his way out. He wanted one thing: to be left alone.
He almost managed it.
They were never myths. They were memories.

What He Carries
A man who has survived everything must learn, from scratch, what it means to stay.
Caelus Ignar has spent eleven years alone in the city, careful to stay unseen. Then a police detective — recently separated, three children, working a dangerous case with no backup — is handed his file, and he's asked to move into her spare bedroom.
He argues against it for twenty minutes. He loses.
The children have rules for him within a week. He has rules for them within a day. Nobody asked whether he was good at this. It turns out he might be.
But eleven years of staying invisible doesn't undo itself just because a nine-year-old wants help with a birthday cake — and the reason he's in that house at all hasn't gone away.
What he carries, he carries quietly.

The Daughter's War
The difference between protecting someone and trusting them is the hardest lesson.
Lyra Ignar has always known what her father is. She has never known what she is — until the night her body answers a question she never got to ask, and a column of cold blue light goes up from the garden at midnight, visible for kilometers in every direction.
Every Draconari female on Earth sees it. A hundred and thirty-four people who've spent years not understanding their own bodies suddenly have a name for what's wrong with them, and a signal to follow.
Caelus knew what the beam would do. He didn't stop her. Now father and daughter have to figure out what it means that she did it anyway — deliberately, without asking him first.
The signal doesn't ask permission. Neither does she.

The Reckoning
The concealment ends. Everything built in the dark now stands in the light.
Eight thousand people fill a market square on the Morthkai's orders, made to lie down in the cold, watched by weapons no human army can answer. Caelus Ignar has spent his whole life avoiding exactly this moment.
He stands up anyway.
He says his name. His real one. Son of Ignar Draconus, Crown Prince of a species that came to Earth generations ago and was welcomed as family. Then he tells eight thousand witnesses, and seventeen alien ships, that this planet is not going to be taken.
What happens next has been building for eighteen years, whether he was ready for it or not.
Some things can only be carried in silence for so long.

Return to the Fire
The star is still there. That is enough.
The war is over. The city knows what it's sharing the world with now, and nothing about that is simple. Somewhere off the coast of Alexandria, sealed for seventeen hundred years, an archive is waiting for the one hand that can open it — built by a father for a son he only got to know for six years.
Caelus Ignar finally gets to meet his father the only way he still can: through two thousand years of history, and one man's private handwriting, addressed to a son he never watched grow up.
This is the last book. Not because the story runs out — because some things get to be finished.
He is still here. That is the star.
The Draconari Saga is a completed five-book speculative fiction series. All volumes are available now in English and Brazilian Portuguese through Amazon KDP, in both paperback and Kindle editions.
